Hi I’m Joanne I’m 42 I’m the founder and owner of Rescue paws a volunteer like the rest of the team. I started this Rescue when I left my job for the NHS in administration due to my son‘s mental health issues I’m self funded. I’m a huge animal lover. I love cats dogs and almost every animal in between After losing my cat Oscar to a hit and run in May I decided I was going to give Back to animals in his memory to keep myself busy and keep myself sane. I’ve always had a passion for helping animals from going on holiday every year to feed Strays to rehoming animals throughout most of my life alongside my normal work at the moment I’m still running from home where I work around my family with the animals and treat all animals with the same care love and respect as I do my own of which I have 13 cats and a dog and would literally keep every animal we help if we had the space and resources. I now do this full-time but unpaid every penny that comes into the Rescue goes to the animals or supplies for their care we as a team of volunteers who just love animals. We are a small close knit Team? That hates nothing more than seeing an animal suffer or get abused so we make it our mission home any animal safely wherever we can with the most loving families possible.
